Summary
Selena and Roger go recruiting. Roger finds no candidates, Selena finds
no
candidates that live up to her standards. Clyde pens another poem for
Michelle
and has Veronica take it to Michelle. Veronica delivers the poem but
gets into
an accident and is taken to a hospital. Clyde talks to some of
Michelle's
troopers and finds out that Michelle respects expert SI/Video Game
players.
He challenges Michelle to a duel later this month.
Roger wants to go fight the Spiky Gang. Clyde convinces Selena to fight
them to
regain her honor. Selena challenges the Spikies to a lance-on-lance
duel at a
local stadium. Selena, Clyde, Roger, and Omar take on the Spiky's four
best
pilots. Selena's brilliant leadership leads her lance to victory as the
Spikies
are outmaneuvered and taken down. They give up and admit that Selena
and her
boyz are the superior Mechwarriors. Later Selena gets a gift from the
Spikies:
a silver statuette of a crouching panther.
Clyde and Michelle's duel is a close contest but Michelle prevails.
Michelle is
impressed by Clyde's skill and offers to teach him a few things. Clyde
accepts.
