So they go
down to the planet. Three entrances into the mountain, two small and
one large. They go down the large entrance, which leads into a wide
tunnel going down deeper at an angle. Travelling for a bit, they spot a
light source as the tunnel seems to open up into a cavern.
Bravely, Clancy volunteers to go in and try to be friendly. But as soon
as he steps into the cavern he's nailed by four disruptors. The rest
charge into a Klingon shuttle bay, with four Klingons barricaded at the
end of the room. A fierce firefight immediately erupts, wherein the GM
lets the characters get away with some positively suicidal moves.
After the Klingons are captured, the characters proceed to rough them
up trying to get information from them. When that doesn't work John has
them sent to the ship's brig. Luckily, Clancy decides to try the
diplomatic approach and manages to assertain that the Klingons are here
at the invitation of the people who already live on the third planet.
Thinking that there's a whole regiment of Klingons down here, running
some sort of white slavery ring, John calls in for reinforcements and
has two security squads beam down. Clancy comes back with the Klingon
leader and they all proceed to head down the tunnels. They wander into
another cavern and find themselves sorrounded by another force.
Refusing to surrender, John and everyone else is stunned with strange
Psi-based weapons.

Krystal is the
only one not stunned so she sensibly gives up. The characters are
escorted to some sort of jail, passing another room with the
technological remnants scavenged from an old sleeper ship. In the jail
they meet the missing colonists. After some questions, Krystal suspects
that this is some sort of telepathic race and tries to communicate with
them.
This produces an immediate reaction, as the guards come back to take
Krystal and her subjects to meet the leader of the Danurians. The
meeting goes well, Krystal assuring the Danurians that they won't be
hunted down like the dangerous mutants they are. The Klingons are freed
and so are the colonists. For now, the system remains independent and
in Danurian control.
As usual, I kind of faded at the end so I skipped the last part where
the leader is murdered and blame is placed on the characters. A trial
and sentence follows where the characters prove themselves innocent and
the real murderer is discovered. I did include an appearance by
Cat-Who-Yawns, who was also in the last episode. This was so I can set
up the coming Kzinti-Duras alliance.
