Recap

When I originally envisioned this adventure, I pictured Serin back on Vulcan visiting his family as a subplot. Even though Fulton hasn't shown up all season, I half-hoped that he would show up, otherwise it would be a rather short adventure. I also didn't prepare well. I did have the adventure down, but I neglected to brush up on Vulcan or even bring the sourcebook, which I would come to regret later.

Once the episode started, my first mistake was letting the players choose what they wanted to do while on vacation in Vulcan, to which they did four separate things. I knew it was going to happen, and yet I was still not mentally ready to deal with it. Just a bad night for me. In any case, they did some site- seeing. Jon and Krystal went shopping, nothing interesting there. Clancy went to the Exploratorium where he was roughed up by some Vulcan Isolationist Movement youths. John visited the site where Kirk and crew worked on "The Bounty" and found Kirk's lost hydrospanner (exceptional rolling for Dave). And Venor bought a Vulcan sword.

Later on the adventure started. Katrina accused a Vulcan of being a Romulan spy. The Vulcan suspiciously fled, but the crew found out that she frequented the park across the street. So they decided to stake it out, furthermore they decided to genetically alter John, Krystal, and Venor to be Vulcans. At this point they partly suspected the female Vulcan, T'Lal of being part of the VIM.
