"... a Resonating Particle Catalyst, so we can build the Containment Unit and pass Zakarian's class," finished Krys. At least now she had something that she thought she could do.

At this point the fourth member of the squad, Cadet Serin, walked into the room. His Vulcan eyebrows arched upwards as he took in the disheveled state of the Containment Unit. "I see that you have been making significant progress on the Warp Field Containment Unit." Serin tried to be sarcastic while remaining Vulcan-calm, something that Krys believed he practiced every night before he went to sleep.

Everybody ignored Serin's barb as Krystal asked: "Did you get tickets for Professor Moltross' lecture?" Professor Moltross had just returned from an archeological dig on Digrala III. His lectures were practically an event in and of themselves, as the Professor was both popular and an excellent speaker. Everybody who was anybody would be attending the lecture, and Krys wanted to make sure her squad all went to see it.

Serin paused, a sure sign that he didn't accomplish his mission. "I was only able to obtain three tickets for the lecture," he began. "I will of course remain behind since it was my failure--"

"Sheesh, stop being so melodramatic," interjected Krystal. "I'll find us another ticket. You can stay here and work on the Containment Unit, and if you have some time you can clean up this place a bit. It's practically a sty."

The other three cadets stared nonplussed at Krys. The mess was hers after all, but she'd rather go out and look for the RPC and another ticket than clean up after herself.

A couple of days later, after talking with a myriad of cadets, merchants, and even more dubious contacts, Krystal approached yet another parts dealer who had been recommended by a friend of a friend of a friend. The faded red and blue sign proudly proclaimed that this was "Fuzzy's Used Parts Emporium", an establishment deep in the heart of Oakland, on the other side of the San Francisco Bay.

Krystal stepped inside and was immediately accosted by a short Tellarite: "Welcome welcome welcome! Pleased to meet you am I. Fuzzy Boar be my name. Parts I have for pretty Starfleet lady. All good condition, best quality!"

"Err, right," replied Krys. "Do you have a Resonating Particle Catalyst. It's for a--"

"Warp Field Containment Unit!" interjected Fuzzy. "Yes, yes. Many Starfleet younglings come looking. Fuzzy has to turn many away. Rare item. Hard to find."

"Well, if you don't have it--" began Krystal, rather disappointed.

"Wait!" interrupted Fuzzy. "Fuzzy not like making Starfleet lady sad. Fuzzy will get part for you. Three days come back, Fuzzy will have RPC. You see!"

"Thanks!" said Krystal gratefully. "I'll come back then."
