Federated Suns Forces Commit Atrocities

Reports have reached our offices that Davion forces have perpetrated several atrocities on Combine troops and civilians. The rumors are sketchy but they come from reliable sources operating in the Kaznejov Prefecture.

There are reports of Davion troops executing Combine prisoners. Civilians have been tortured and forced to do slave labor. Eyewitnesses tell of chemical and biological weapons testing on civilian targets. Although few reports are confirmed we will continue to gather more information and make sure the truth is known to all of the Inner Sphere.

Raids on Federated Suns Stalled

St. Ives, St. Ives Commonality, Capellan Confederation

The raids on Federated Suns worlds has met with several setbacks in the last month. After initial successes on several Capellan March targets, the raiding forces have for the most part been defeated in subsequent raids.

The Harloc Raiders and the Beer Chasers were decimated on Acala and Daniels, respectively. Both mercenary companies were ambushed and destroyed by the Davion defenders. Other strikes were turned back without destroying their objectives. Only a few raids were successful.

Confederation officials say that the raids will continue. "Even the failed raids accomplish the objective of keeping the Davion forces off- balance," said a spokesperson. "If the Federated Suns troops are defending against our raids they can't attack our worlds."

Siu Liang Honored for Meritorious Service

Tsingtao, Sarna Commonality, Capellan Confederation

Diem Cynthia Tolegov awarded Siu Liang the Citation for Meritorious House Service. The award is for his sixty years of service to House Liao and the Capellan Confederation. Mr. Liang started out in 2961 working as a maintenance tech 4th class in Tsingtao Food Processing Plant #3. After sixty years of faithful service he will retire as a maintenance tech 2nd class.

In his many years of faithful service, Mr. Liang only missed twelve days of work. He was sick four days, took leaves for the birth of his three sons and two daughters, and he took three days off for vacation. Siu Liang is an example of the hard work and dedication of loyal Capellan citizens.

Capellan Philosophies: The Lorix Order

The Order of Lorix was founded in 2672 by Major Kalvar Lorix. Major Lorix was a 'Mech commander who was badly injured on Chesterson. He used his convalescence to formulate the philosophical premises that formed the Lorix Dictums.

The Dictums are as follows:

1. Citizens have the right to expect the highest degree of professionalism from the armed forces.
2. The highest order of warrior and defender is the Mechwarrior.
3. Mechwarriors should be the most honored people in the state. Mechwarriors should strive to perform the most outstanding feats in defense of the state.
4. Mechwarriors must try to attain the highest expertise possible. War is an acceptable way of helping mechwarriors achieve that.
5. Only another mechwarrior can decide a mechwarrior's fate.
6. The highest and most important ideal for a mechwarrior is loyalty: to the citizens, to the state, and to the Chancellor.

The Lorix Order only lasted a quarter of a century. Three centuries later, Colonel Hiritzu Hikaru adopted and modified the Lorix Dictums to support the formation of the Capellan Warrior Houses.
