Summary
On Altair, Selena starts setting up her government. Sir Wrigley
continues
to celebrate...
On Galatia III, Maya decides to combat drop the Werefish onto their
target.
Unfortunately, there is a freak problem with the drop systems and only
Roy,
Hugo, and Victor actually make the drop. Roy sizes up the situation and
deploys his lance.
Their objective is protected by 2 Griffins, a Panther, and 2
UrbanMechs.
Roy's lance lands firing. Victor loses a leg and is partially stuck
deep
in a forest. Roy takes a lucky PPC shot to the head which damages his
sensors. Roy also takes an engine and gyro hit, otherwise his
Thunderbolt
is virtually undamaged.
Hugo cripples one of the UrbanMechs. The other enemy 'Mechs take a lot
of
damage but it's mostly to armor. As the fight continues the two sides
keep
stripping off armor from each other -- no 'Mechs go down.
Finally, after almost 2 minutes of fighting, the defenders lose the
Panther.
Their Griffins have lost their PPCs and the second UrbanMech has only
three
shots left with its AC/10. Meanwhile Hugo's Rifleman has lost both arms
and
both torso medium lasers so it is weaponless. Victor is still in the
woods.
Roy has stayed back and scored an occassional hit but his sensor damage
makes
it difficult. His Thunderbolt is still good.
Roy asks the enemy 'Mechs to leave. They agree if they can take their
Panther. Roy agrees and so the fight is over. Victory for the Werefish!
