Summary
Michelle gets permission to raise a company of infantry. Sir Wrigley
goes
recruiting but doesn't find any candidates. Selena buys an Atlas for
Sir
Wrigley. She also wants to find a Gauss Rifle.
On Galtor III, the Stingrays find out that the FedCom troops have found
an
old Star League base. Roger decides to send Izzy's and Mary's lances on
a
daring and foolhardy raid. Izzy disguises the 'Mechs with House Steiner
colors and they set out.
The lances get split up and Izzy's lance is spotted so he decides to
attack
immediately. There's a heavy lance of Davion 'Mechs guarding the base
and
Izzy's lance takes some damage going in. Mary's lance appears at the
enemy
flank and the two lances beat up on two of the enemy 'Mechs. The other
two
enemy 'Mechs close in to support their friends.
The Blowfish have a hard time of it. Two enemy 'Mechs are crippled
while
three Blowfish 'Mech are crippled. Izzy takes a couple of AC/20 shots.
One of the crippled enemy 'Mechs is destroyed while the Blowfish take
some
armor damage. Izzy offers terms and they agree. Each side keeps their
'Mechs
and the Davion force leaves.
On searching the base. They find a Gauss Rifle, 2 CASE systems, and a
black
box of unknown technology. They return to Blowfish central to fix their
'Mechs. Izzy finishes modifying Roger's Rifleman.
