• NFL Week 1. 49ers lose at home to the Cardinals. Apparently a lot of sloppy play. But there were no pre-season games so I expect it'll be a rough four weeks or so until the offense hits its stride.

• Thinking about it, maybe not that expensive, if I was into Apple Music. But I'm kind of old school and want to own my music (realizing that buying a DRM-ed streaming album is still not the same as owning a CD). Apple TV+ is nice but I already have access to Netflix, Disney+ and dad's Xfinity plan so yet another video plan seems redundant.

• DriveThruRPG is doing a September Cyberpunk Sale. It's a niche category. R Talsorian with their Cyberpunk RPG and four other publishers with a handful of products, all battle maps or paper miniatures. And it's a 15% off sale so a bit on the low side.

• Sending in my vote for HOA board. I'm on it but I'd rather the other guy win because I've already been on an HOA board for 10+ years and young people need experience and bring enthusiasm. There's also an incumbent (2 seats are open) but no doubt she'll be voted in.
