Culling SFU, Traveller, Conan Bookshelf Space
Feb 15 2022
Star Fleet Universe
About three bookshelves of Star Fleet Battles and Federation and Empire (and Starfleet Marines though there are only two modules released). First I culled Federation and Empire which has a lot of expansion modules. Then SFB Omega sector (which has about 8 modules; it's in a different section of our galaxy unreachable from the mainline SFU and could be used to replace mainline if ADB ever loses it's Star Trek TOS license). Early Years and X-era modules (both pre-warp/early warp and post-TOS tech ships). All the pre-Captain's Edition stuff.
And yet that still left a bookshelf's worth. I tried to cull out the non-core races (basically what was presented in Designer's Edition Star Fleet Battles Volume One) but by then it was "why keep around a game that I can't use when running an RPG campaign?" So I boxed everything up except for RPG stuff and the old Nexus magazine.
Traveller
Similar to other RPG lines I culled out all the sourcebooks leaving adventures. Then I decided to cull out all pre-Mongoose Traveller since I have almost all on PDF. Mongoose Traveller 1st edition I kept adventures and campaigns. Current 2nd edition is actually pretty cool with full-color hardbacks on glossy paper so I'm keeping all that around.
Conan
TSR Conan I'll keep since it's pretty small. Mongoose Conan there were some adventure and campaign modules which I'll keep. Most Mongoose Conan books I'll box up. Modiphius Conan I don't have any physical books so no problem there.
