• Another long walk to SMCU. Also needed to get AAA batteries and the Safeway is right there but their battery cabinet is locked and I didn't want to ask someone to unlock it. I can get AAA batteries from Walmart like on Monday.

Sleep 0430 to 1230. (8 hours)

• The Nightmares Underneath bundle centers on an OSR RPG of horror dungeon delving -- i.e. going into dungeons and killing nightmare monsters and instead of hit points you accumulate nightmare curses. I guess this is kind of like the computer game Darkest Dungeon. I'll probably skip this bundle.

• Received a notice that my home insurance will be cancelled at the end of this period (Dec 06) because they don't offer that product anymore. Perhaps not worried since I use Steph's insurance broker.

• Apple Watch S9 and iPhone 15 announced. I realize that if I stick with iPhone SE I'll never get cool hardware like three cameras and big screens (and the equivalent for Apple Watch SE) but I can live with that.

Sleep 0445 to 1215 (7-1/2 hours)

• I received a notice about a class action suit against Tesla. As far as I can tell:
• board of directors got stock options that they "didn't deserve" I guess because company was not performing well enough to warrant that reward
• settlement it so return those stock options (reverse sales, etc.) and to change how Tesla awards stock options
• lawyers get a bunch of money
• plaintiffs (everybody who owns Tesla stock) get nothing? since the money is being returned to Tesla so indirectly benefits us as stock owners.
• It's a lot of legalese and hard to understand. I wish there was plain language of what's going on.

• I'm thinking of buying the Mutants & Masterminds 3E RPG core book since it has corrected rules compared to DC Heroes RPG and the page numbers should match the GM's Kit Quickstart Character Generator (which I love).

Sleep 0545 to 1315. (7-1/2 hours)

• Trader Joe's. Their bone-in + skin chicken thigh is not bad price. $2 per pound in single/couple packages of 1-1/2 or so pounds. Safeway big 8 lb of same type of chicken is $2.50 per pound. I guess Safeway chicken is sometimes on sale 2 for 1 though I seldom happen by at the same time.
