• In "War Against the Chtorr" there are people who are so shell-shocked from the alien invasion that they revert to a simple, herd mentally and live kind of like a herd of cows. Twitch chat when full of meme-ers is like that. After a while there's a certain appeal to giving in and joining the mindless meme-ing.
